abstract

the decision to buy, sell, design and construct residential apartments is a complex process due to a combination of multiplequalitative and quantitative factors. it thus requires a great deal of costs and time for decision makers in this market. identifying these factors and determining the priority of them are importance for selectingan apartment. the aim of current research is to identify the affecting factorsof the desirability of a residential apartment by utilizing the knowledge and experience of experts in the housing market and then determine the priority ofeach factor through ahp method. in this case, certain experts in mashhad city were chosen in order to specify the influential factors from the customers view point and rank them through paired comparison. in the last step, qualitative and quantitative factors are combined and the assessment model for determining the value ofresidential apartment is presented.

Designing a Valuation Model for Petroleum Startups

Development of downstream operations in the Iran's petroleum industry has always been considered as a necessity in to create more value-added. One of ways to accomplish the misson, especially in the current situation, is exploiting the capacity of petroleum startups. Considering that these companies need to be valued for financing, and since the traditional valuation methods do not provide effi...

Designing data center network by analytic hierarchy process

The demand for delivery services for large-sized content such as video has increased dramatically, and the use of cloud computing services in which users can use IT services via networks has also increased. To provide these services with high quality and high reliability, ISPs need to carefully design network topology and the positions of data centers. However, network topology and data center ...

Factors Influencing Prioritization of Hospital Services for Outsourcing: A Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process Ranking Model

Background and Objectives: Prioritizing the services to be outsourced is a crucial challenge toward efficient outsourcing of health services. In spite of fruitful efforts in improving the outsourcing process, there still remains room and need for developing more systematic approaches. The present paper introduces a novel multi-criteria decision making model based on the fuzzy a...

The Analytic Hierarchy Process

The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), introduced by Thomas Saaty (1980), is an effective tool for dealing with complex decision making, and may aid the decision maker to set priorities and make the best decision. By reducing complex decisions to a series of pairwise comparisons, and then synthesizing the results, the AHP helps to capture both subjective and objective aspects of a decision. In a...

A Trust Model for the Analytic Hierarchy Process

Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is a frequently used method for ranking alternatives. The alternatives to be ranked are modeled based on a set of criteria. The ranking computed by AHP is trusted on faith notwithstanding the fact that a model is an approximation and liable to failure. We present a model to estimate the trust in the AHP ranking. The model helps in determining if it is prudent to...

Groundwater potentiality through Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) using remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS)

Nowadays the use of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) is one of the most powerful cost effective tools to identify and discover the available groundwater resources. In this paper, Lithological Units, Lineaments, Slope, Topography, Drainage density, Vegetation and Isohyets lines have been achieved by stations and through remote sensing and GIS techniques. All layers of diffe...
